Carp Pilot Pro is easy to use! No nonsense single click sends boat to desired spot, or saves a new spot where the boat is.

You can start to use the app as it is, then exploit the rich set of abilities when you get experience. Have a look at the description of the really powerful Premium features below, and note that these require a subscription. And only purchase a subsription if you are able to utilize these additional abilities with your boat.

The base version of Carp Pilot Pro is a highly capable application for your boat. Easily tailor the app to your preferences and to fit your boat. Select icons for your boat's abilities, and open your bait tray and switch lights with single taps on the screen. Note on requirements for your boat in order to use this application:
- It MUST be equipped with an autopilot (use Ardupilot: Rover)
- The autopilot MUST have a telemetry connection to speak with the app

In addition to the above, Premium customers can also:
- Create bathymetric maps live while boat is driving
- Use depth logs and shoreline to create bathymetric maps
- Log depths for use with the included editor or PC software like Reefmaster
- Use Mock GPS and broadcast boat position as device position for third party apps
- Use Goto+ and experience hands free baiting

Note on Live Mapping and bathymetric editor introduced in version 4:
- The Echo Sounders supported from version 3 all work
- Live Mapping requires substantial compute resources from your tablet
- If you have performance issues, chose not to use live mapping and instead record logs
- Then create the map afterwards using the batrhymetric editor
- When doing live mapping or logging, logs are stored in "Depthlogs" directory
- When doing live mapping or creating maps with editor, maps are stored in the "KMZ" directory
