Welcome to the GoGoDiscover App! If you’re planning on hunting down the 177 T.rex and Steppe Mammoth on the streets of Norwich and Norfolk between 27 June and 10 September 2022, then use this app to collect the sculptures, unlock rewards, view your trail stats and share your pictures with your fellow trail goers. How many of the colourful characters will you discover?
This exciting fun and family friendly trail, delivered by East Anglian charity Break, in partnership with Wild in Art brings colour and creativity to the county as an attraction for all to see and explore, positively contributing to the economic, social and cultural life of Norfolk. The 79 large T.rex and Steppe Mammoth sculptures have each been individually designed by an artist and sponsored by a business and the 98 smaller Breakasaurus sculptures have been created by a school or community group as part of GoGoDiscover's Learning & Community Programme.
When you support the trail you make life better for children and young people on the edge of care, in care and leaving care. Money raised during the trail and at the auction of the sculptures will stamp out the mammoth expectations faced by young adults leaving the care system. Break supports these young adults to find a home, keep themselves mentally and physically well, and provide encouragement and confidence when it comes to following a career path. Most of these young adults don’t have a family around to support them – Break promises to be that family.
